The Blind Fox

My mom gave me a bunch of my childhood stuff about two years ago. I was annoyingly sentimental as I perused through awards, pictures, and report cards. Then I smooshed them together in my desk and didn't think about them again.

Until today.

Give a Girl a Pen's First on Fridays was about your first seed. I remembered seeing a book I'd written in third or fourth grade. I posted it in the comments there, but wanted to share the illustrations with you. I've gotta admit, my drawing skills have not improved since then.

That's so exciting! I love stuff like that. Work by children always has so much life to it. Thanks for posting this. :)

I've taken a lot of heat for being a packrat over the years, but now I'm so glad I have all the old stories I had from way back when. My parents claimed to have long since thrown in away, but fortunately it was just in a box in the cellar ; )

Okay, I'm impressed, I missed yours somehow on give a girl. But great poem, and beautiful illustrations. You should be published. :)
